Parker Hammon, 6, Lime Springs

Parker John Hammon, age six, of  Lime Springs, Iowa died on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn.
Parker John Hammon was born on May 27, 2004 at the Rochester Methodist Hospital to Jaimie Hammon-Howard and Russ Theis.
He is survived by his mother, Jaimie Hammon-Howard of Lime Springs; his father, Russ Theis of Lime Springs; his  siblings,  Gabe of Batesville, Ark. and brother Mason and sister Jaelynn, both residing at home; maternal grandpa, Dennis Hammon of Lime Springs; aunts Joleen (Andy) Anderson of Janesville, Minn. and Jenni Hammon (Sam Ortmann) of Storm Lake, Iowa; maternal great-grandma, Norma Dahl of Canton, Minn.; paternal grandparents, Bob (Pat) Theis of Riceville, Iowa; aunts, Shawna (Jeff) Francis of Mitchell, Iowa, Sheila (Lee) Coggins of Texas and Shari and Mark Elliott of Osage, Iowa; uncles, Randy Theis of Osage and Rick Theis of Riceville;  his godfather Ben Barrett of Rochester; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Norene Hammon;  maternal great-grandparents, Lynn (Nellie) Hammon and J. Melvin Dahl; and paternal great-grandparents, Leonard and Charlotte Theis and Paul and Mildred Winkel.

Family visitation will be held from 4:00-5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23 with the public visitation 5:00-7:00 at the Hindt Funeral Home in Spring Valley and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Funeral services will be held at  1:00 p.m. on November 24, 2010 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lime Springs, with Reverend Maureen Hagen officiating. Burial will be at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lime Springs.
