Park of a Different Color

Why not try something new and celebrate May Day? On Sunday, May 1, you and the family can spend all afternoon at Brown Park in Lime Springs and be fed and entertained. Starting at 11:30, there will be an informative presentation explaining the plans for updating the park.
Break out your favorite dish to pass at a community potluck. There will be a lot of great food to choose from.
If you can’t make it for lunch, come anytime in the afternoon. Starting at noon, Mike McAbee will be performing many of his songs geared toward kids. He has generously donated 10 CDs with all proceeds going to improvements to the park. The music ends around 3:00, but kids can still have fun playing on the newly painted horses and donkeys, playing horseshoes or playing on the fresh mulch under the play equipment.
The theme of the park restoration is “Park of a Different Color” with bold colors playing a huge role in the scheme of things.
