Scott Hendrickson, 36, LeRoy

Memorial services for Scott D. Hendrickson were held Friday, January 6, 2012 at the LeRoy Lutheran Church with the Rev. Rolf Wangberg officiating.

Scott Douglas Hendrickson, age 36, of LeRoy, Minn., died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, January 2, 2012.

He was born December 28, 1975 in Spring Valley, Minn. to Doug and Linda (Osland) Hendrickson. He attended and graduated from LeRoy-Ostrander High School in 1994. Scott was currently employed at McNeilus Truck Manufacturing as a Fabricator and Welder. Scotty always had the gift of gab; he loved to talk and visit with people. He loved to ride motorcycles, lived life for his kids, family and friends; and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, music, and spending time with friends and family. Scotty was a very caring and generous person, always going the extra mile for others.

Scotty is survived by his children, Grace Miller and Nolan Hendrickson, both of LeRoy; his parents, Doug and Linda Hendrickson of LeRoy; and a sister, Casey (Greg) Hart and their children Cody and Dani Jo, all of Lime Springs; his grandmother, Floy Hendrickson of LeRoy; and his aunts and uncles, Melvin (Dotty) Hendrickson of Rochester, Jim (Margaret) Osland of Eagan, Minn., JoAnn (Harold) Shipman of LeRoy, Rhonda (John) Adams of Peterson, Minn., Mary (Rodney) Kiefer of Sargeant, Minn., and Ronnie Osland of LeRoy. He is also survived by many cousins. Scott was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Orvin and Ruth Osland; and paternal grandfather, Glenn Hendrickson.
