Strength in numbers

Howard-Winneshiek School Board member James Kitchen has continually said he wants to know how the public feels about what is happening at school.

He extends an open invitation to anybody who would like to help promote positivity with the football program and other aspects in the H-W system—starting with second grade all the way through 12th grade.

He explained, “The intensions for doing this is to harness the energy that is in our district.”

To give your input, attend the open meeting at Cresco Library on Tuesday, Nov. 6, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Kitchen says if you cannot make the meeting, you can e-mail your comments to him at

“Everybody has something they can do to help. Please do it,” he added.

Additional meetings for football, as well for other activities will be set depending on the turnout.
