  1. Old Settlers will be June 8, 2013

    • I thought this information would be of some interest to you. My gr. gr uncles emigrated to Iowa from Wales in the 1860’s. One of them David Lloyd Owens was buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery Lime Springs. He states in his will that he bequeathed $50 to the cemetery association with annual interest going towards keeping his grave clean and in good condition. The will mentions a few people of Iowa and I’m wondering if any of their descendants are alive today and still living in Lime Springs.
I would be grateful of any information.
      Regards Lilian

      • I will pass this on to a historian and member of that same Cemetery Association. Our town has a population of 500 so it’s easier to keep track of people!

  2. Is there going to be a parade? If so what time? Thanks!!
